To be eligible for cover, all of the following criteria must be met:
Be aged 21–84 on the date of purchase.
Be a UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 6 of the last 12 months.
Hold a valid full UK driving licence or a valid internationally recognised driving licence.
Be named as the Lead Driver/Main Driver on the vehicle rental agreement.
Purchase the policy before the rental period starts.
The rental vehicle must have a market value of less than £65,000 at the start of the rental agreement.
The rental vehicle must be 10 years old or newer.
The vehicle must not be a soft-top/cabriolet with a non-metal roof, motorhome, van, campervan, trailer, caravan, commercial vehicle, truck, motorcycle, moped or motorbike.
The vehicle must not be primarily intended for off-road use.
The vehicle must have 9 seats or fewer.
The vehicle must not be used in a motor rally or competition.
The rental agreement must not have started before the policy.
The rental agreement must not extend beyond the Period of Insurance.

Cover cannot be backdated, so if your rental has already started when you purchase the policy, you will not be covered for that rental.
